Case Description
Our clients, Elitam Ltd. and its shareholder, were sued by their partner in a real-estate venture — King George Inc., a foreign company — on grounds of fraud and piercing the corporate veil. The partnership jointly owned a valuable property on King George Street in Tel Aviv. Following the sale of the property, the plaintiff alleged that Elitam had deceived it and failed to pay its full share of the partnership proceeds.
The representation required familiarity with foreign law (Florida) and close coordination with international parties, including the review of extensive English-language documentation and the cross-examination of witnesses in English.
