Case Description
A complex family dispute arose when the client’s children from his first marriage filed a lawsuit against him and his wife seeking the dissolution of co-ownership of their high-value residence in Tel Aviv. The plaintiffs made false allegations of mistreatment by their stepmother, who had raised them from infancy after they were orphaned.
We handled the case with a focus on protecting our client’s reputation, and also filed claims against the children for improvements made to the property, after one of them had added an additional floor.

Outcome
The court accepted our arguments regarding the property’s value and awarded nominal, symbolic compensation for the alleged use claims. It also agreed with our position that no interest differential should be imposed on the payments.
